A "+" has now been added to BYD's latest generation of HVS high-voltage battery systems.
In addition to the familiar features and distinguishing features, the new HVS+ model features an improved BCU.
This can be flexibly used for HVB, HVS+, and HVM+ series battery modules. The new automatic SOC balancing calibration system eliminates the need to manually adjust the charge level during initial installation or system expansion.
The new wiring system for power and communication connectors for the BMS saves additional valuable time during installation.
System configuration is also facilitated by a new app for installers. An app for end customers is also available for convenient system monitoring.

Combination with components from the previous HVS series is not possible.
Commissioning requires the new BYD Energy app with the latest firmware installed (from V1.28.0).
The RJ45 data bus termination connector included in the delivery must be fully wired during installation.
The HVS+ and HVM+ series are currently certified ONLY in combination with the KOSTAL PLENTICORE MP and PLENTICORE G3 inverters.
