Maximum design flexibility
The Fronius Tauro offers maximum flexibility in configuration, design and installation. Central or decentralised, vertical or horizontal installation allows the Tauro range to meet specific customer requirements.
For this purpose, the Fronius Tauro and Fronius Tauro ECO can be freely combined. Furthermore, the innovative AC Daisy Chaining option allows several Tauro inverters to be connected in parallel, resulting in savings in AC cable costs and a significant reduction in energy losses.
Furthermore, the 30 ampere version of the Fronius Tauro Direct is also suitable for larger solar modules with high current intensities.

Double-walled design
The double-walled outer casing of the Fronius Tauro ensures optimum internal temperature management and protects the power electronics from overheating.
Centralised and decentralised system design
Depending on requirements, the Fronius Tauro can be used to create centralised systems (precombined version) or decentralised systems (direct version).
Connection options
On the AC side, cables with a cross-section of up to 240 mm² can be connected, allowing maximum flexibility in configuration and significantly saving on operating costs.
Versatile installation
The practical stand allows the Fronius Tauro to be installed both horizontally and vertically.
Active ventilation
Active ventilation (Active Cooling) continuously conveys hot air from inside the inverter to the outside, thus protecting the power electronics from overheating.
Large connection box
The large space available in the internal AC connection box makes it easier to install both surge protection and components from other manufacturers.
Component replacement
The convenient replacement of the power source allows one person to carry out service work directly at the system.
