Fronius SYMO ADVANCED 17.5-3-M MPN 4,210,162 17.5kW 2MPPT 3-phase string inverter for industrial and commercial PV systems of all sizes. The inverter combines tried-and-tested performance with new safety technology. Thanks to its ability to process a wide input voltage range and handle very high PV module currents, it ensures flexible alignment and combination of PV modules. The latest-generation inverter with 17.5 kW output impresses with reliable arc protection thanks to the new Fronius Arc Guard technology, maximum freedom in roof design thanks to SuperFlex Design and maximum earnings thanks to Dynamic Peak Manager. SuperFlex Design allows for flexible planning of rooftop installations and the Dynamic Peak Manager optimises yield.
This three-phase on-grid inverter boasts an impressive capacity of 17.5 kW and includes two MPPTs for efficient energy conversion even with variable sunlight. The integrated display and Wi-Fi connectivity facilitate system monitoring and management.

The design and operation of the inverter ensure maximum safety during installation and operation. The inverter operates fully automatically. The inverter starts monitoring the grid as soon as sufficient energy from the solar modules is available after sunrise. If there is sufficient solar radiation, the inverter switches to grid-feed operation. It also works in such a way as to draw the maximum possible power from the solar modules.
As soon as the energy offered for grid feed becomes insufficient, the inverter completely disconnects the power electronics from the grid and stops operation. All settings and saved data remain stored.
Greater safety
Detect, intervene, learn: this is how the new Fronius Arc Guard technology protects systems from dangerous arcs. The algorithm developed by Fronius precisely identifies the beginnings of arcs and intervenes immediately by deactivating the PV system, before a fire can break out. Fronius Arc Guard is constantly updated because we use the information collected from all the detections of potential arcs to make our algorithm increasingly precise, so as to maximise the protection of the PV system.
Unlimited flexibility
We simplify the design on complex roof shapes thanks to our SuperFlex Design system. The solar modules can be positioned and connected to each other with extreme flexibility because Fronius Symo Advanced is able to handle a wide range of input voltages, as well as very high PV module currents.
Optimal performance over time
Thanks to the Dynamic Peak Manager algorithm, Fronius Symo Advanced maximises the yield of the PV system even when the solar modules are partially in the shade.
This intelligent shading management is software-based, so it is already integrated into all inverters and does not require additional components. This means it is operational right from the start of the system and has a much lower impact on operating and maintenance costs than other solutions.
