The joints of the PL series are specifically designed for use on flexible cables. They are made from Cu-OF CW008A electrolytic copper tube according to UNI EN 13600: 2003. Annealed and protected on the surface by electrolytic tin plating, min. 3μm. The annealing process optimizes the structural characteristics of the material, therefore allows easier compression and guarantees the use of the joint in the presence of mechanical stresses of various kinds. the PVC insulating coating simplifies the installation and restoration of the cable insulation. The insulating blouse also embraces the cable and prevents it from bending too abruptly at the mouth of the joint, helping to increase its resistance to mechanical stress that could damage the elementary wires of the conductor.
