This kit allows us to exploit photovoltaic energy to provide the necessary electricity. The inverter can directly supply the energy generated by the photovoltaic panels to the electrical system of your home or business to meet the energy needs. Also, if demand is high, the electricity grid will be combined with PV generation. At night, when there is no photovoltaic energy production, the home, industry or company is powered through the electricity distribution network or the battery if connected (in this case, withdrawals from the network are limited to a maximum using almost always your own energy). The 360V LUNA2000 15kWh lithium battery from the manufacturer HUAWEI is a modular battery for single-phase and three-phase self-consumption systems with HUAWEI inverters. This module has 5kWh of useful energy and requires the BMS (Battery Management System) not included to function as an interface with the inverter to which it is connected.
Up to 3 modules can be controlled with a single BMS. Several 5kWh LUNA2000 modules can be connected and create storage systems of 10 or 15kWh. A 30 kWh system can be created by connecting two groups of three LUNA2000 modules in parallel. Furthermore, you can choose to have a HUAWEI self-consumption system with storage in the following capacities: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30kWh.
The HUAWEI LUNA2000 range operates on a nominal voltage of 360V when connected to a single-phase system, with an operating range of 350 to 560V. Connected to a three-phase inverter, they operate at a nominal voltage of 600V with an operating range between 600 and 980V. The battery is equipped with cells with Lithium Ferrophosphate (LiFePO4) technology, in order to offer IP65 protection and dissipation by natural convection, with a sound level below 29 decibels. Finally, it can be wall or surface mounted, with a weight of 50 kg for the battery module and 12 kg for the BMS controller module.
Compatibility of the HUAWEI LUNA2000 Lithium Battery
Compatible with the KTL single-phase inverter range from 2 to 6kW and with the KTL-M1 three-phase inverters from 3 to 10kW. Communication with the inverter is via the BMS via RS485 and also incorporates a CAN connection for parallel operation. The BMS has a small display to indicate the charging status, as well as an LED to indicate the operating status.
Complies with all certifications required for its use, such as CE, RCM, CEC, VDE2510-50, IEC62619, IEC 60730, UN38.3.
It can restart automatically when the battery enters self-protection mode due to undervoltage.
